Become a Game Master (GM) at WBC

Every event at WBC is run by a volunteer Game Master (GM). GMs are the backbone of the convention ? without them, there is no WBC. If you're passionate about a game and want to share that passion with fellow enthusiasts, becoming a GM is one of the most rewarding things you can do at WBC.

What Does a GM Do?

Plan and submit

your event format, schedule, and preview prior to the convention

Run your event on-site

manage rounds, resolve rules questions, track results

Submit your post

event report and final results for the BPA record

Optionally

provide prizes, coordinate demos, and mentor new players

GMs are not paid. They pay the same membership fees as everyone else. What they gain is the satisfaction of building something great for the community ? and the lure of GM of the Year recognition.
